| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | A modification to the indexer that sorts words based on length. This should make searching a little bit more efficient. After the patch is applied, your old index will be automatically converted to the new format (when you visit a page). The new index format is: 1. Index files are stored in savedir/index 2. Word lists are stored as wlen.idx. This used to be word.idx. 3. Word indexes are stored as ilen.idx. This used to be index.idx. 4. The page list, page.idx, is simply copied to the new location. Removing the library creates a much smaller JavaScript footprint. The size of the compacted non-edit Javascript output was reduces from 56110 bytes down to 29296 bytes. The footnote tooltip was completely rewritten and tested in FireFox 2.0, IE 6 and Opera 9.02. Please test other browsers as well. For all other MIME types a redirect is sent back to the browser. This reduces the risc of being misused as open proxy. Additionally the download facility is disabled completly by default by setting the fetchsize option to 0. Users who want the feature need to overwrite the option in their local.php. Background: The ability to download external files is needed to resize external images on the server side.
